Quetta RTO speeds up campaign for Voluntary Tax Compliance Scheme

QUETTA: The Regional Tax Office has speed up its efforts to create awareness about the Voluntary Tax Compliance Scheme 2016 among the business community.

All the staff of Quetta RTO was briefed in detail during the different meetings about the scheme and the role they were supposed to play in this regard.

Mobile KIOSK RTO Quetts

A meeting with the members of Tax Bar Association was also held to brief them about the benefits of scheme for traders and the importance of their cooperation. The representatives and members of Markazi Anjuman-e-Tajiran Balochistan were also informed about the salient features of the scheme.

The RTO officials also held meeting with the mobile phone companies for sending bulk messages to all the cell phone subscribers throughout the province of Balochistan.

The kiosks were established at premises of RTO Quetta, Balochistan Chambers of Commerce & Industry, Millennium Mall Shahrah-e-Gulistan, Jinnah Road Quetta and Junction Chowk. Mobile kiosk was also set up and sent to all parts of the city to disseminate 1,000 pamphlets and handouts among the traders.

Arrangements were made to distribute pamphlets and handouts through the newspaper hawkers to trading as well as residential areas of the city, besides placing banners of the scheme throughout the city of Quetta.
