NEW YORK: iOS 8.1.2 was launched with a lot of expectations but somehow Apple has missed the target. Rather than receiving a warm welcome, the new iOS update is being criticized by a lot of tech enthusiasts and fans.

The core of every update consists of the idea to come up with the basic bug fixes but in case of iOS 8.1.2 it seems like new updates has given birth to new bugs in the system. The quick battery draining accusation leads the pack and this problem has worried the users no end. The 20 MB update doesn’t solve the previous issues and provide the users with the expected bug free version of iOS. On the contrary, users might have to go through several steps to fix the bugs.

First of all, to solve the battery-draining problem the users first need to discover the element that continuously disturbs the system – the apps. A common issue that hugely affects the battery life is the third party applications. This particular offending app is the main root of the problem and once the users start to use it then it begins to drain the battery.

The key fact lies in the battery configuration. To get the most out of the battery, move to Settings> General> Usage> Battery Usage to check and double-check what is draining the battery most. Mostly there would be one app, which would be draining the battery the most. It is recommended to quit that app and also remove it from the device after taking a backup of the data.

While doing this activity, analysts’ advice to reduce the background activity to the minimum to have optimum results. The users can also find those apps that run unnecessarily on a regular basis. They consume too much power for auto refreshing and can be a cause for concern.
