Railway track blown up in Jafarabad

JAFARABAD: Unidentified miscreants blasted a railway track with explosive material in Jafarabad, upsetting the train service on Friday morning.

According to Frontier Corps (FC) sources, some unidentified miscreants planted explosive device at the railway track which went off with a big bang, due to which a deep crater was developed by destroying the track. The FC source said that more than two feet of railway track was destroyed in the explosion. Heavy contingents of Frontier corps and other law enforcement agencies arrived at the scene and surrounded the area. A search operation was launched for the arrest of the terrorists. The railway traffic was suspended due to the damaged track. The railway authorities started repair work of the track.
