Railways to run more than 20 trains on Eid

LAHORE: The Pakistan Railways has announced to run more than 20 special trains on Eid to facilitate about 30,000 commuters.

This was decided during a meeting of senior officials held at the PR headquarters, under the chairmanship of Federal Minister for Railways Khawaja Saad Rafique. The meeting decided to begin Eid operations from July 11.

The meeting decided that from July 11 to July 16, one special train will be leaving Karachi for Lahore each day, and vice versa. On July 15, one train will be leaving Quetta for Rawalpindi and one will go from Karachi to Peshawar. On July 17, one train will be leaving Rawalpindi for Multan and one will go from Peshawar to Lahore. On July 20, one train will leave Multan for Karachi. From July 20 to July 22, one train will leave Karachi for Lahore each day, and vice versa.
