Rate of return increased on Naya Pakistan Certificates

KARACHI: State Bank of Pakistan has increased the interest rate on Naya Pakistan Certificates.

According to the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP), the profit of the three-month investment in dollars has increased by 1.25 percent.

The profit rate on the three-month investment in dollars has increased to 8.25 per cent where the profit rate on the three-month investment in rupees has increased.

The profit of 6 months’ investment in dollar has increased by 1.30 per cent and the profit on 6 months’ investment in dollar has increased to 8.50 percent while the rate of profit on 6 months’ investment in rupee has increased by six percent. After the increase, the rate of return on investment in rupees for six months has increased to 21.25 percent.

Similarly, the profit rate on 12-month investment in dollar has been increased by 1.50 per cent.

The rate of profit on 12-month investment in dollar has been increased by nine percent and the rate of profit on 12-month investment in rupee has been increased by 6 percent.

After that, the rate of return on 12-month investment in rupees became 21.50 percent.
