Rawalpindi I&I earns Rs7513m extra revenue by seizing smuggled goods

RAWALPINDI: Directorate of Customs Intelligence and Investigation fetched Rs7406 million extra revenue by seizing smuggled goods during first 4 months (July to November) FY18-19 against same corresponding period.

Additional Director Customs I&I Shahid Jan while talking with Customs Today stated that during initial four months of current financial year the Directorate of I&I received Rs7513.28 million during July to October of Fiscal Year 2018-19 against revenue collection of Rs106.92 million collected during same corresponding period.

Telling the month-wise details of revenue collection, he stated that during month of October FY18-19 the I&I received Rs45.3 million while in month of September it earned Rs7405.39 million as well as fetched Rs47.6 million during month of August and received Rs14.99 million during month of July FY18-19.

Shahid Jan said that during October FY17-18, the I&I received Rs13.62 million while received Rs50.98 million during month of September, fetched Rs 34.49 million during month of August and received Rs 7.83 million during month of July FY17-18.
