Rawalpindi I&I seizes smuggled cigarettes worth Rs7.6

ISLAMABAD: Directorate of Customs Intelligence and Investigation (I&I) raided a warehouse near Sangjani against smugglers and seized smuggled goods worth Rs7.6 million.

Sources told in pursuance of credible information by Director General Customs Intelligence and Investigation Faiz Ahmad, The Anti Smuggling Organization team of Customs Intelligence Rawalpindi under the supervision of Director I&I Irfan Wahid raided a warehouse near Sangjani (Islamabad ) and recovered 5500 (fifty five thousand) packets of foreign origin cigarettes were recovered along with 0.7 matric tons of betel nuts and 1.3 metric tons of polyester furnishing fabric.
