Mumbai: The RBI fixed the reference rate of the Indian rupee at 61.8248 against the US dollar and for the euro at 69.1387 as against 61.7908 and 69.2860.
As per Reserve Bank of India statement, the exchange rates for the pound and yen against the rupee were quoted at 95.2658 and 51.62 per 100 yen, respectively, based on reference rates for the dollar and cross-currency quotes at noon. The SDR-Rupee rate would be based on this rate, the release added.
