RCB decides to recover outstanding property tax

RAWALPINDI: The Rawalpindi Cantonment Board (RCB) has decided to recover outstanding property tax.

This was decided during the monthly meeting of RCB, which also approved recovery of water charges and carrying out various development schemes.

The meeting was presided over by RCB President Brig Syed Hassan Raza. Executive Officer Dr Saima Shah and Vice President Malik Munir Ahmed and elected members Malik Sajid Mehmood, Muhammad Shafiq, Haji Zafar Iqbal and others were present on the occasion.

According to RCB spokesman Qaiser Mehmood important issues of public welfare were brought under consideration including cleaning of nullahs and construction of various streets.

The meeting approved lane marking of Mall and Peshawar roads. The meeting also approved funds for treatment of employees and approval of residential maps. The meeting also discussed different issues brought up by the Board members.
