RCCI urges govt to supply gas to industrial sectors

RAWALPINDI: The local business community has demanded the government to supply gas to industrial sectors uninterruptedly.

Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI) President Mian Hamyun Pervez, while talking to APP, said that gas should be provided to industrial zone and domestic users on priority. The president said that despite closure of CNG stations, the industry and domestic users are still facing gas shortage. He said observed under the prevailing energy situation, the industrial sector was facing problems as factories were unable to meet production targets which ultimately hampering business activities.
