RCCI virtual Rawal Expo

RAWALPINDI: A delegation of Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI) called on Federal Minister for Planning, Development and Special Measures Asad Umar yesterday.

The delegation comprised of President Saboor Malik,  group leader and former president Sohail Altaf, Senior Vice President Nosherwan Khalil, Vice President Hamza Sarosh, Chairman Expo Rawal Expo Nasir Mirza and Chairman Regional Trade Khurshid Berlas.

3,000 Iran-bound containers stranded at Karachi port as Hormuz tensions disrupt shipping

The delegation briefed the minister on RCCI Rawal Expo and other activities of the chamber.

On this occasion, Federal Minister  inaugurated the pre-launch of RCCI Virtual International Rawal Expo 2020. The minister assured full support from his ministry regarding the expo. He said that through digital platform, domestic and local products can be better advertised. He welcomed the initiative of expo being organized amid Covid-19.

The Virtual International Rawal Expo will run from August 7 to August 16. What is special about the virtual platform is that there is no time limit for participating in the exhibition. Any stall holder or visitor will be able to participate in the exhibition on the online platform at any time in 24 hours. Companies from various sectors including electronics, Pharmaceuticals, garments, engineering, machinery, and food will be able to display their products in the exhibition.
