REAP, LTIA back PIAF-Founders Alliance candidate in LCCI elections

LAHORE: PIAF-Founders Alliance is inching towards another historical landmark as Rice Exporters Association of Pakistan (REAP) and Lahore Township Industrial Association (LTIA) have also announced to support the Alliance candidate in the LCCI elections being held on September 23 and 24.

The LTIA hosted a lunch in honour of PIAF-Founders Alliance Corporate Class candidates Ijaz A Mumtaz, Babar Mahmood, Naseeb Ahmad Saifi, Zafar Mahmood, Muhammad Saeed, Muhammad Aslam, Mian Muhammad Afzal and Maqsood Butt. LTIA Chairman Nasrullah Mughal, PIAF Chairman Malik Tahir Javed, Mian Shafqat Ali, Chaudhry Zafar Mahmood, Sheikh Muhammad Ayub, Iqbal Baig Chughtai, Mian Abuzar, Khawaja Shahzad Nasir, Ahsan Butt, Fida Hussain, Amjad Ali Jawa, Babar Mahmood Chaudhry, Zaheer Bhutta, Haroon Shafiq Chaudhry, Chaudhry Iftikhar Bashir, while a large number of industrialists were also present on the occasion.

LTIA Chairman Nasrullah Mughal, while paying rich tributes to the Alliance chairman, said that he has left no stone unturned to get the issues being faced by the business community solved. He said that more than 250 industrialists of the area would vote for the PIAF-Founders Alliance candidates.

Speaking on the occasion, Mian Shafqat Ali said that the Alliance has chosen the capable and activate candidates who would serve the business community with courage and zeal.

Former LCCI executive committee members Nabila Intesar, Nasiral Taskeen and Alliance unopposed candidate on seat reserved for women, Tahira Muneer, hosted a lunch in honour of female members of the Lahore Chamber of Commerce & Industry. They told the participants that PIAF-Founders Alliance has ensured participation of women entrepreneurs in economic activities.

The REAP also hold a function in honour of PIAF-Founders Alliance candidates and announced to support them.

Meanwhile, PIAF-Founders Alliance Associate Class candidates visited Akbari Mandi, cloth market and steel sheet market.

Renowned businessman Khawaja Shahid Rasheed also hosted a dinner attended by Mian Anjum Nisar, Mian Muhammad Ashraf, Iftikhar Ali Malik, Muhammad Ali Mian, Sheikh Muhammad Arshad, Sheikh Muhammad Asif and Mian Shafqat Ali.
