Rebate Section Islamabad reimburses Rs04m less CD than assigned target

ISLAMABAD: The Rebate Section of the MCC Islamabad paid off Rs4.00million less CD than an earmarked revenue target for the month of February FY17-18.

According to details explained by official sources of the Model Customs Collectorate (MCC) Islamabad that, during the month of February of Financial Year 2017-18, the MCC Islamabad was allocated Rs20million target for the rebate refunds under the head of CD while the Rebate Refund Section reimbursed Rs15.99million under the same head.
The sources told CT that, during the month of February FY17-18, Rebate Section of Islamabad Collectorate tried hard to pay off maximum rebates to the exporters as CD so that they could continue their exporters properly.
It was said that the Rebate Refunds Section showed -8% decline against an assigned target for rebate refunds under the head of CD during the month of February FY17-18 while it showed -20% hike against the paid-off rebate refunds during the same corresponding period of FY16-17.
