Reconstruction of Mughalpura Dry Port boundary wall completes

LAHORE: Reconstruction of boundary wall around Mughalpura Dry Port has been completed as it was damaged due to heavy rain and storm last month.

According to details available to Customs Today, the boundary wall around Mughalpura Dry Port was destroyed due to storms and heavy rain in July and it was dangerous for security of the dry port and staff of Customs Collectorate of Appraisement Lahore.

After few days the Customs Appraisement of Mughalpura Dry Port had awarded a contract of reconstruction of the boundary wall to a contractor who started work on it and completed the work by the given period.

Meanwhile reconstruction of roads to Mughalpura Dry Port has also completed in a period of one month.  Now access to Mughalpura Dry Port has come easy and security measures are also improved.
