The recovery notice has been issued under sub-sections 2 and 3 of section 202 of the Customs Act, 1969. The Multan Customs enforcement recovery branch has warned that if the defaulter fails to respond, the authorities may proceed to attach the company’s bank accounts and immovable properties to recover the dues.

The company’s owner, residing in Sialkot, is now facing stern action from Customs to ensure the recovery of the outstanding amount. Multan Customs has also informed the Regional Tax Office in Sialkot, requesting their assistance in the deduction of the outstanding taxes from any accounts or properties under their control. The proof of the government dues is to be sent to the defaulter and other collectorates for facilitation in recovery.

The Customs Collectorate has directed the defaulter to pay the government dues within 15 days of the notice to avoid further legal action and potential attachment of assets.
