Region A collects Rs 750m as property tax in seven months of FY 2014-15

LAHORE: The Excise and Taxation Department’s Region A has recovered Rs 750 million in the first seven months of the fiscal year 2014-15.

According to Excise Region A high official, the region recovered Rs 61 million in January so the total amount collected in seven months (July-January) has reached Rs 750 million. The department has started issuing notices from the start of February stating that defaulters’ property would be sealed in case of non-payment of liable amounts by the due date.
