Karachi: Regional Tax Office-III collects Rs 8 billions

KARACHI: Chief Commissioner Regional Tax Office-III, Karachi, Ahmed Saeed hopes to achieve the revenue target by the end of the current fiscal year as so far the estimated collection of his office was around Rs. 8 billions.

Talking exclusively to Customs Today, Chief Commissioner Ahmed Saeed disclosed that Rs.9billion target has been set for April 2015.

He further told that the till March the RTO-III has achieved about 97 per cent of the set target.

He said that the target up to March was Rs 62331million whereas, the collection for March stands at Rs 60465.191million

He said that March (2014), the RTO-III surpassed the target of Rs 45308 million by the collection of Rs 48933.005 million in March 2014.

The Chief Commissioner also disclosed that so far the latest figure of estimated collection has touched Rs 8billion and hoped that by the end of the month the revenue target is likely to be achieved.
