LAHORE: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has ordered officials of the regional tax offices (RTOs) to get their office cards before March 10; otherwise they will have to face departmental proceedings.
According to a circular, all the employees including officials will have to get their office card attested by the authorities. The order has been issued for all staff members.
The RTO have clearly been told that departmental proceedings will be initiated against those who fail to comply with the orders.
On the other hand, lower grade employees told Customs Today that they were afraid of their exploitation following the order.
