Remarkable performance: Faisalabad RTO surpasses August’s target by Rs 570m

FAISALABAD: The Federal Board of Revenue Regional Tax office (RTO) Faisalabad has surpassed the revenue collection target for August 2015 by Rs 570 million and collected Rs 2.387 billion.

The RTO Faisalabad had been assigned Rs 1.817 billion target for the said month but it showed commendable performance under the supervision of Chief Commissioner RTO Faisalabad Tasneem Rehman.

Source said that RTO has also issued Rs 414 million as tax refunds to the taxpayers during the August 2015. They added that it has collected Rs 1.241 billion as sales tax, Rs 553.81 million as income tax and Rs 22.55 million as federal excise duty.

The officials said that achievement has been made due to dedicated efforts by Chief Commissioners Tasneem Rehman and her core team comprising commissioner, additional commissioners and other subordinate officers.

They further said that FBR has appreciated the performance of RTO Faisalabad and desired to continue efforts in order to surpass the annual target for fiscal year 2015-16.
