Renault Talisman is to unveil today

PARIS: Renault latest car named the Talisman is going to be a replacement for the Laguna model and it is going to be unveiled on July 6th. Renault Talisman has been caught testing on numerous occasions in Europe and sources claim that the model will put on sale in the year 2016. The design of this car is similar to the next-generation Megane model and that will also enter showrooms in 2016. It also has similarities to the design of Mazda 6 and the Passat.

The findings of this video teaser reveal several facets of the car, such as head-up display, front-end with chrome bar on grille, sleek taillight, two-tone alloys and sculpted hood. Renault has given an explanation regarding the nameplate of the saloon and it says the car “conjures up notions of both protection and power. At the same time, Talisman is an easy word to pronounce and understand the world over”.

Renault is yet to reveal any information regarding the mechanical configuration of the Talisman model. It is being said that the car will come with several technologically advanced features, such as leather trim, multimedia screen and digital instrument cluster. It is being said that the car will feature the CMF architecture a development jointly held by Nissan and Renault. The plans regarding the replacement of Laguna have been doing rounds since 2012 but could not get the go-ahead due to some reasons.
