Renovation of Eduljee Dinshaw Road stopped due to killing heat wave

KARACHI: Renovation work of Eduljee Dinshaw Road has been stopped due to scorching heat wave in Karachi in recent days.

The sources in Model Customs Collectorate-MCC Preventive informed Customs Today that the authorities concerned have granted leave to the laborers who were working to renovate Eduljee Dinshaw Road due to unbearable heat wave in Karachi.

The sources further informed that the authorities concerned of MCC-Preventive have taken the said decision keeping in view the recent situation, as more than 1000 people have already been killed due to scorching heat in Karachi.

It is pertinent to mention here that the renovation work at Eduljee Dinshaw Road at its peak before the advent of holy month of Ramazan. However, the authorities concerned of Pakistan Customs decided to provide relief to the laborers in scorching summer.
