It is pertinent to mention here that the Collector MCC-Preventive Syed Muhammad Tariq Huda is taking personal interest in order to renovate the Eduljee Dinshaw Road and preserve it as a “cultural heritage”.

It may be mentioned here that the Collector MCC-Preventive Tariq Huda was also met with the Sindh Governor Dr Ishrat-ul-Ebad Khan, last year and sought financial assistance for up-gradation of Eduljee Dinshaw Road.

Later in the year 2014, a simple but sophisticated inauguration ceremony for renovation of Eduljee Dinshaw Road was held outside the Custom House, in which Sindh Governor Dr Ishrat-ul-Ebad Khan, Chief Collectors Customs and other notables attended the ceremony.

During the ceremony, it was announced that the federal government would provide financial assistance to Pakistan Customs authorities to renovate Eduljee Dinshaw Road “as cultural heritage” while some philanthropists including Mian Pervez of M/s Digicom (Q-Mobile) was also offered his financial assistance in completion of the project.

As per details, the project is to be completed by the end of this current year 2015 and after the completion of the project, the Eduljee Dinshaw Road is to be closed for traffic and the people would come at evening to spend their leisure time and rejuvenate their memories for old times, as plants, park-lanes and other recreational items would be installed at the corners of the road for entertainment of the visitors.
