Renowned religious scholar Maulana Tariq Jamil delivers motivational lecture to FBR officers

KARACHI: Renowned religious scholar Maulana Tariq Jamil, on the request of the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR), delivered a motivational lecture to the officers of the FBR at the auditorium of the Directorate General of Training and Research (Customs).

Customs Chief Collectors Muhammad Nazim Saleem and Nasir Masroor Ahmed; Directorate General of Training and Research (DGTR) Director Ghulam Ahmed and other customs officers were also present on the occasion.

HRD Secretary Baseerat Memraiz had requested all officers of Pakistan Customs and Inland Revenue Services (IRS) of BS-17 and above posted in Karachi to attend the lecture.

The FBR has further directed to live broadcast the lecture of Maulana Tariq Jamil through video link for the benefit of all the field formations at FBR Headquarters (Islamabad), Lahore LTU; Lahore RTO-I; DGTR, Inland Revenue (Lahore), Model Customs Collectorate in Multan, Peshawar RTO; Abbottabad RTO, Hyderabad RTO, Gujranwala RTO; Sialkot RTO; Model Customs Collectorate in Quetta; Faisalabad RTO and Sukkur RTO.

It is pertinent to mention here that FBR Chairman Tariq Bajwa was also scheduled to visit Karachi Customs House along with Maulana Tariq Jamil, but he could not make it to Karachi due to other important appointments.
