Rentokil’s initial Q3 revenue increases by 32.1% in France

PARIS: Pest control firm Rentokil Initial Plc (RTOKY.PK,RTO.L) reported that its third-quarter revenues were 578.3 million pounds, up 32.1 percent on a reported basis and also up 15.7 percent at constant exchange rates.

Revenue from ongoing operations in the quarter was 576.7 million pounds, up 33.1 percent on a reported basis and also up 16.6 percent at constant rates. The organic revenue growth was 3.1 percent.

Growth in the Emerging and Growth markets was once again particularly strong. The company’s operations within the Manage for Value quadrant grew by 2.3 percent, while the rate of revenue decline in its Protect and Enhance markets was largely unchanged from the first and second quarters at 1 percent.

Rentokil Initial noted that the majority of its regions have performed well in the period, reflecting good performances in Asia, Pacific, Latin America, the UK and in its largest market, North America. While conditions remain tough in parts of Europe, particularly in France, overall the region delivered modest revenue growth in the third quarter.

Looking ahead, the company said that its outlook for the full year is unchanged.
