Revenue recovery: Chief Collector Nasir to meet officials of all collectorates

KARACHI: Chief Collector Appraisement-South Nasir Masroor Ahmed is going to hold revenue related meetings next week, with the officials of all three field formation collectorates including Model Customs Collectorate Appraisement-West, Appraisement-East and Port Muhammad Bin Qasim.

Sources informed Customs Today that the chief collector would hold separate meeting with the authorities concerned.

The sources further said that the chief collector would give a proper guideline regarding the achievement of revenue targets to all field formation collectorates.

The further revealed that chief has special directives from Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) to evolve proper strategy regarding the achievement of revenue targets by the end of fiscal year 2014-15.

It is pertinent to mention here that the MCC Appraisement-East and MCC-Appraisement-West have successfully attained revenue targets since the day first of the beginning of FY2014-15.

The sources further informed this scribe that the Chief Collector Appraisement-South would pay extra heed towards the revenue collection issues related to MCC-Port Muhammad Bin Qasim.
