Revenue staff directed to address public grievances

FAISALABAD: Revenue staff especially Patwaries have been directed to facilitate the masses by promptly addressing the public grievances.

District Coordination Officer (DCO) Noorul Amin Mengal, warning the revenue staff Tuesday, said that a number of complaints were lodged at his office in which the people complained that the revenue staff used delaying tactics for their small matters pertaining to revenue record, registration deeds, transfer of land properties and mutation etc.

The DCO said that the revenue staff and the Patwaris are duty bound to help public promptly. Therefore, whosoever found guilty of neglect or deliberate delay would be taken to task, he warned.
