ISLAMABAD: After increasing death toll of people in Karachi due to loadshedding, Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif is considering imposition of emergency on energy projects.
Sources said that after a three-hour meeting of the Cabinet Committee on Energy, PM Nawaz seemed to lean more towards the idea of an energy emergency. According to sources privy to the CCE deliberations, he lashed out at the committee and told the bureaucrats delivering the presentation to stop their projector.
