Robbers loot Customs Public School Gulberg

LAHORE. Armed robbers stormed into Customs Public School, held the guards and staff at gunpoint and took away laptops, Rs1,65,,000, police said.

According to the details, accused persons who were later identified as Shoukat Hayat Paracha, Javed Iqbal, Jaffar Hussain, Chaudhary Ansar Iqbal, Mohammad Shahid and Aqib Ali entered the premises of Customs Public School threatened the entire staff at gun point and after breaking the mirrors they managed to enter the School.

During robbery, they taken away three lap tops, security TVR system and Rs1,65000 which was collected by the school from students.

Sources said that after this attempt, robbers locked the security guard of the school in a room and managed to escape with all the looted things.

After receiving information Chief Collector Customs Zulfiqar Ali Chaudhary and Collector Basit Maqsood Abbasi reached the school and examined the crime scene.

Local police of the area registered a case of robbery and started investigations in this regard.
