Role of women in eradicating corruption is vital: Chairman NAB

ISLAMABAD: National Accountability Bureau (NAB) is aggressively pursuing “Awareness and Prevention” regarding corruption by targeting youth in particular and masses in general, on the directives of Chairman, NAB, Qamar Zaman Chaudhry.

This campaign is intended to change the attitude and mindset on corruption and its ill effects on society, said a press release.

Qamar Zaman Chaudhry said that since mothers have a major impact in bringing up children and their attitude and development, it is intended to target young ladies in universities and colleges who are going to be future mothers.

He said their sincere efforts in inculcating basic moral values against corruption besides religious teachings will go a long way in strengthening and bringing a change in the mindset of tomorrow’s youth.

Chairman NAB said the bureau has proposed Ministry of Capital Administration & Development Division (CADD) and Higher Education Commission (HEC) to make a panel of Imminent female scholars to share their valuable ideas and thoughts in implementation of goals of eradicating the menace of corruption effectively through NAB forum across the country.
