AMSTERDAM: In June 2016 Romania exported 187 KMT of corn (255 KMT in the previous month), which is 61.5% lower compared to record high exports of June 2015 (485.3 KMT). Iraq, Italy, Spain and Egypt were main buyers of Romanian corn in June 2016, informs UkrAgroConsult.
Over September-June 2015/16 Romanian corn exports are almost two times lower than the volume shipped over the same period of 2014/15 (2884 KMT against 5463 KMT).
Over the reporting period top buyers of Romanian corn decreased their purchases – Spain by 37%, Netherlands by 41%, Italy by 39% and Turkey – 69%.
