ISLAMABAD: The Rapid Response Force of the Model Customs Collectorate Islamabad took into possession a huge quantity of crushed red chili powder worth Rs12.00million along with an offending vehicle on October 31, 2017.

According to details explained by In-Charge Rapid Response Force (RRF) Shahrukh But while providing incident report said the RRF was on its routine patrolling when it intercepted a 10-wheel truck bearing registration No: GLTD-1113. The force asked the possessor of the red chili to show the documents which can prove that the consignment has cleared its duty taxes.
The possessor showed the documents which did not prove any relevance with the loaded goods. The documents were made for a cement consignment rather than the red chili. The RRF took into possession the smuggling item along with the truck and brought it to the State Ware House. The impounded truck was coming from Sost and going towards Rawalpindi.
