ISLAMABAD: National Highway Authority (NHA) has been carrying out maintenance of two portions of Peshawar-Kohat section of the Indus Highway (N-55).
An official of NHA told APP Monday that maintenance of 20.50 kilometer out of the 35 kilometer portion on N-55 is being carried out through allocation of Rs.239.528 million under AMP 2014-15. Future allocations for road sections would be made upon finalization of AMP 2015-16, he added.
He said that the allocation of maintenance funds for each road of NHA Network are made under Annual Maintenance Plan (AMP) prepared each year. AMP for financial year 2015-16 has yet not been finalized.
