Rs 30 million allocated for project: Nullah Lai to be dredged by end of March

RAWALPINDI: Water and Sanitation Agency (Wasa) will complete dredging of Nullah Lai by the end of March as per schedule.

Wasa spokesman said this adding that the Punjab government has allocated Rs 30 million for the project, which was started in February. He said that currently Wasa has started working on up and downstream of Dhoke Naju, Phagwari Bridge Khyaban-e-Sir Syed and Pir Wadhai Bridge. The main focus is to restore the channel width and depth of Nullah Lai as per original specifications.
