FAISALABAD: The Irrigation Department has decided to brick line 22 canals of Faisalabad zone under Kisan Package this year.
A spokesman of the Irrigation Department told here on Saturday that the canal brick lining project would be completed with an estimated cost of Rs 552 million. He told that draft of the project had been sent to the Punjab government for approval and after formal approval the physical work for brick lining the canals would be started.
