Rs18.5b bailout package: Finance Ministry releases last tranche of Rs3b to PSM

KARACHI: Under the Rs18.5b bailout package, the Ministry of Finance has released last tranche of Rs3 billion to Pakistan Steel Mills (PSM).

According to PSM’s press release, the amount would be utilised in disbursing salary up to October 2014. PSM CEO Zaheer Ahmed Khan said the production capacity utilisation would also improve to 77pc (breakeven point) by April 2015.
