Rs19802.620mln tax recovered in five months

KARACHI: Sindh Minister for Excise, Taxation and Narcotics Control Mukesh Kumar Chawla has said that during current fiscal year in five months from July to October Rs 19802.620 million have been recovered. He said that during last year in same period Rs 15308.085 were recovered.

He said this while presiding over a meeting at his office, said a statement issued here on Wednesday.

Secretary Excise and Taxation & Narcotics Abdul Haleem Shaikh, Director General Shoaib Ahmed Siddiqui and other officers also attended the meeting.

While briefing the meeting DG Shoaib Ahmed Siddiqui told that Rs2194 millions were recovered in head of Motor Vehicle, Rs14870.068 millions were in head of infrastructure cess,  Rs180.478 millions in head of professional tax while Rs 910.103 were in term of property tax.
