Rs2.01b disbursed among pensioners in Oct

KARACHI: Rs2,015.975 million (over Rs2 billion) have been disbursed amongst the pensioners and collected Rs1,091.170m (almost Rs2 billion) as contribution from registered employers and employees during October 2015.

The Employees’ Old-Age Benefits Institution (EOBI) institution registered 312 new employers and 22,630 employees and granted 2,669 new pension claims which included 1,548 old age, 61 invalidity 808 survivors and 252 old-age grant cases, said a press release.
