PESHAWAR: The lawmakers from Pakistan Muslim League-N have accused the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government of corruption and misuse of Hydel fund, causing loss of billions of rupees to the province.

Danial Aziz, Dr Tariq Fazal Chaudry and Mayeza Hameed of PML-N, while addressing a press conference here at a local hotel, said that the PTI-led government had made a projection in 2013-14 of generating 3260.6 MW electricity by executing different projects. However, they continued, the provincial government dithered and left the Hydel Fund, amount to Rs25 billion, to corruption and mismanagement, causing people of Pakistan and KP to suffer more due to power load shedding.
