Rs40.381m spent on PM Khan’s air travels abroad

ISLAMABAD: A sum of over Rs40.381 million has been incurred on Prime Minister Imran Khan’s air travels abroad since holding the office on August 18. The information has been submitted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the National Assembly.

In the written reply, the ministry reveals that the prime minister undertook six trips from September 18 to November 20, 2018, after assuming the office in August. The premier went to Saudi Arabia on his maiden one-day foreign trip and the total expenses incurred on it remained Rs3.99m while Rs433,000 were spent on his tour to the United Arab Emirates (UAE). The ministry’s reply further shows that he had spent Rs870,000 on his second two-day long visit to Riyadh.
