LPG marketing companies unilaterally made an unjustified raise of Rs.10 to 20 per kg in LPG prices. They said that govt does not increase the prices, adding that LPG price has been increased by Rs.45 per kg in just seven days. They said according to the rules of OGRA and LGP policy, gas should be kept available in the market at Rs 95 per kg. But the marketing companies were indulged in black marketing.
