Rs460m collected in 4 months: Sialkot E&T achieves 50% recovery target

SIALKOT: The Excise & Taxation Department has so far achieved 50 percent recovery target during the first four months of ongoing fiscal year.

According to the Director E&T Gujranwala Division Rao Shakeel ur Rehman, the E&T Department had formed 52 special teams for the recovery of property and other taxes in Gujranwala Division. He said the E&T had yet recovered Rs460 million in the head of different taxes during the corresponding period. He said the E&T department would seal properties of big defaulters in the next phase.
