Rs600,000 spent on 3 projects: Three waiting rooms inaugurated at Lahore Railways Station

LAHORE: Pakistan Railways General Manager (Operation) Javaid Anwar Boobak has inaugurated three new waiting halls at Lahore Railway Station.

One of the waiting halls was opened for the passengers travelling to or from India at Lahore Railway Station. The other two waiting rooms reserved for men and women passengers separately, while a water treatment plant was installed to provide clean drinking water to passengers at platform number 2.

Javaid Anwar Boobak said the Pakistan Railways had built the hall through its own resources and well reputed officers were appointed for transparent work. He said that an amount of Rs 600,000 has been spent on these three projects, however, the water treatment plant has been donated. He said that situation of the PR was getting improved day by day and the focus of the PR administration was on provision of more and more facilities to the passengers.
