RTO-1 recovers Rs 13 million from three companies

LAHORE: The Regional Tax Office-I (RTO-I) ofthe Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has recovered Rs 13 million from three companies involved in selling various items to unregistered companies.

On special directions of Inland Revenue (IR) Commissioner Sayed Mahmood Hussain Jaffary, the teams took action and attached the bank accounts of defaulter companies.

The RTO-I recovered Rs 4 million from MS Marks Graphics, Rs 4.2 million from Two Star International and Rs 5 million from Chorahi Enterprises. The tax recovery process has been expedited as the current fiscal year is about to end.

On the other hand, officials said that crackdown against companies those are selling their goods to unregistered companies will remain continue.
