RTO-II collects Rs 19234m in first ten days of April

KARACHI: Regional Tax Office-II (RTO) collected an amount of Rs 19234 millions during first ten days of April.

Talking to Customs Today,assistant commissioner Safdar Malik said that during the above said period Rs 18325 millions were collected under the head of income tax, while Rs 890 million were generated as sales tax, Rs 19 million were collected as federal excise duty.

Safdar Malik said that we are using all our resources to meet revenue target and we are hopeful that we will achieve our revenue target in next three months. He said we tried hard to bring tax defaulters under tax net. He said we already issued final tax notices to all defaulters. He said that most of defaulters are paying tax after receiving these notices.
