RTO Faisalabad collects Rs 21.1b against Rs 24.7b target in 11 months

FAISALABAD: The Federal Board of Revenue’s Regional Tax Office Faisalabad has achieved 85 percent of the set target for the first 11 months of the current fiscal year 2014-15.

As per details, the RTO Faisalabad has been assigned the target of Rs 24.772 billion for the said period by the FBR but it has collected Rs 21.12 billion, which is 85 percent of the revenue recovery target.

The RTO Faisalabad has collected Rs 15.9 billion under the head of income tax against the set target of Rs 17.23 billion with shortfall of Rs 1.33 billion.

On the other hand, it has collected Rs 4.86 billion in term of sales tax against the assigned target of Rs 7.27 billion while facing a shortfall of Rs 2.41 billion during the said period.

While marking 36 percent increase, RTO Faisalabad collected Rs 350 million as federal excise duty against the set target of Rs 263 million.
