RTO Hyderabad Dr M Ali farewelled at ceremony

HYDERABAD: The Regional Tax Office (RTO) Hyderabad (FBR) has held a farewell party in honour of the retired Chief Commissioner-IR Inland Revenue, Regional Tax Office (RTO), Hyderabad Region, Federal Board of Revenue (FBR), Dr Muhammad Ali Sand.

Additional Collector Model Customs Collectorate MCC Hyderabad  Rehmatulah Vistro, Commissioner (Zone-I) Qazi Afazl, Commissioner Muhammad Atif, Commissioner Huzoor Bux Lagari, Commissioner Muhammad Manzoor Hussain Jokhio, Additional Commissioner Peer Khalid, Additional Commissioner Muhammad Shamim, Additional Commissioner (RTO) Ashok Kumar, Deputy Commissioner RTO Hyderabad Altaf Memon and other officials of RTO were also present.

Addressing the ceremony, officials said that the chief commissioner has performed well in any assigned tasks regarding the generation of revenue. At the end, Muhammad Ali Sand delivered a thanksgiving speech in which he shared his past experiences of life.

In his message to the young officers, he said it is an elite service of this country, so keep your reputation clean and do not compromise on it.

During the ceremony, the officers presented a gift of shield, Sindhi hat and Ajrak to him. On this occasion, another Collector Rahmatullah Vistro presented a gift and Ajrak to him on behalf of the Model Customs Collector Hyderabad, Akhlaq Ahmad Khattaq.

Asghar Mangrio, Assistant Commissioner, hosted the event while Shimim Khan conducted the function. The guest also planted a memorable sapling at the RTO Hyderabad. At the end of the ceremony, food was served. Apart from this, a musical programme was also held in which Amjad Lal Group performed.

Meanwhile, Naheed Azhar (IRS/BS-20) has been transferred from the post of Member Commissioner, (HRM) Large Taxpayers Unit, Karachi, and posted as Chief Commissioner Inland Revenue (OPS), Regional Tax Office, Hyderabad.
