RTO-I collects Rs 3,992m revenue in first 10 days of November

KARACHI: The Regional Tax Office-one (RTO-I) has collected Rs 3992 million tax revenue during first 10 days of November, Customs Today has learnt.

According to the sources, RTO-I has collected Rs 3,900 million in terms of income tax while it has collected Rs 92 million in terms of sales tax. RTO-I official said that revenue collection in terms of sales tax remained low due to refund cases.

Talking to Customs Today, Commissioner RTO-I Sajjad Haider said that the RTO-I has already achieved its set target for the month of October. He said that in the first 10 days of October RTO-I has collected Rs 3840 million which become the main reason for achieving target of October.

RTO-I has issued over two thousand notices to being more and more people into tax net, he added.
