RTO-I collects Rs 2,1546m in first ten days of June

KARACHI: Regional Tax Office-I (RTO-I) collected a revenue of Rs 21,546 during the first ten days of June.

Talking to Customs Today, Additional Commissioner IR Malik Qayyum Khanzada said that that the department collected Rs 2,0308 million under the head of income tax, Rs 1,213 million as sales tax and Rs 25 million under the head of federal excise duty (FED).

He said that RTO-I recovered Rs 2,0145 million during the first ten days of May from which Rs 22 million were recovered under the head of federal excise duty and Rs 1,9111 million were collected as income tax.

He said that as the current fiscal year is going to end in near future so RTO-I teams are working tirelessly to achieve revenue collection target set for fiscal year 2015-16.
