LAHORE: Regional Tax Office-I (RTO-I) freezes bank account of Environment International Housing Society and recovered Rs 5 million from its bank account.
After thorough investigations it was revealed that Environment Housing Society is involved in tax evasion. RTO-I authorities sends many reminders to the owners of the company to clear outstanding amount of tax but they failed to do so.
Upon their failure to deposit the tax the Regional Tax Office-I recovered the tax amount from society’s Habib Metropoliton Bank,Davis Road Lahore, Branch account.
The bank account of the company freeze on the order of Commissioner Inland Revenue Asim Razvi and Deputy Commissioner Sumaira Kanwal, Inspector Syed Shabir Rezvi and Mehdi Hassan Shah also included in team. Further investigations are in progress.
