LAHORE: the Federal Board of Revenue’s (FBR) Regional Tax Office-I, II and Large Taxpayers Unit (LTU) Lahore have settled all sales tax refund cases for the fiscal year 2014-15 as the offices remained open on August 30 despite the holiday.
As per details, the FBR had issued order to RTOs and LTU that refund offices will be open on August 29 and 30 to conclude the sales tax refund that was deducted in financial year 2014-15.
As per instructions, the RTOs and LTU refund offices remained open on weekend where all taxpayers those claimed for the tax refunds were called to decide the matters.
The refund offices issued vouchers to the persons those claimed for refunds which can be en-cashed through bank accounts or manually.
